Nova · private preview

One intelligence for your whole computer.

Nova understands your screen, remembers your work, and gets things done across the apps you already use — email, files, planning, research, and the rest. Ask in plain words. Show it a task once, and it does it again.

The Workbench · how Nova thinks

Watch one request think.

Step through a single everyday request — “turn today’s meeting into tasks” — as it moves through Nova’s loop. Go at your own pace. It’s an illustration of how Nova is designed to work, and each stage says what’s real today.

It reads the request against what's on your screen.

Nova sees the work itself — the notes open in front of you and the project they belong to — not a description of it.

An interactive illustration of Nova’s loop — not a product recording. The foundation is built: memory, perception, and desktop control work today. Stronger reasoning and better verification are what we’re strengthening now. A real, unedited take remains the ultimate proof, and it’s coming.

Why Nova

Show it once. It does it again.

Nova isn’t one more app to learn — it learns how you work. Watch you do a task once, across whatever apps it takes, and it can repeat that workflow the next time it comes up — consistently, and better over time. The longer you use it, the more it quietly handles.

Example

Every month you reconcile receipts the same way — rename by date, file by vendor, tally the total. One month, you do it with Nova watching.

Next month, when the receipts pile up, it offers to do the whole thing — your way. You just say yes.

It learns your workflow — that’s the difference.

Where Nova fits

Not a replacement for your chat window.

You’ll probably keep using both. ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot are very good at what they do — Nova is built for the part that doesn’t fit inside a chat box.

Reach for a chat assistant when

  • You want to think something through in conversation.
  • You need a draft, a summary, or an explanation.
  • The task starts and ends in that one window.
  • You're exploring a question, not continuing a project.

Reach for Nova when

  • The work spans several apps, not one window.
  • You'd otherwise re-explain the same project from scratch.
  • The context is already in your files and on your screen.
  • You've done the task before and shouldn't have to again.

Nova answers questions and helps conversationally too. The difference is where it lives: on your computer, where it can see the work, remember it, and act on it — so you stop being the one carrying context between tools.

How it works

Six things, working as one.

Not a pile of features — a single loop. Nova perceives, remembers, reasons, acts, and checks itself, privately.

  • 01

    Perception

Nova sees what's on your screen and in your files — the work itself, not a chat about it.

  • 02

    Memory

It keeps the context of your projects over time, on your device, so you never re-explain.

  • 03

    Reasoning

It plans in small, safe steps — and pauses to ask when it isn't sure.

  • 04

    Action

It gets things done across your apps — email, files, planning, and the rest — one reversible step at a time.

  • 05

    Verification

It checks its own work, catching and correcting mistakes — and gets more reliable over time.

  • 06

    Privacy

Your screen and files stay on your machine. Any cloud help is optional and named.

Interactive · local + cloud

Route a task. Watch the line.

Nova keeps work on-device by default and reaches for the cloud only when a task needs it — and only with your say-so. Send this task to either side and watch what crosses the line.

Drag the task into a lane — or use the buttons. Try the heavy one on both.

The dashed boundary is your machine. Local work never crosses it; a cloud call is the one thing that does — encrypted, once, and never kept. The full data-path is on local + cloud.

Trust

Trusted with your whole computer.

Nova can see and act across everything you do, so the defaults matter. It is local-first by design, and honest about the line between the two.

What Nova does

  • Runs on your own computer
  • Remembers your work locally — and wipes it on one command
  • Shows its reasoning as it works
  • Asks before anything irreversible
  • Keeps your screen and files on your device

What Nova doesn't do

  • Send your screen or files to us
  • Act on risky steps without your say-so
  • Train on your data
  • Require an account to run locally
  • Hide what it's doing

Live · your visit

It's already remembering.

You didn’t set this up. As you moved through this page, Nova kept a small record of what you looked at — on your device, and yours to erase. That’s the whole idea, shown on you instead of described.

Every tool you use forgets you the moment you leave. This one didn’t — the panel is a real record, held in this browser, that will still be here if you reload.

It’s inspectable in plain terms, and erasable in one click. Wipe it and a reload proves it’s gone — the same promise Nova makes about your work on privacy & security.
